WPML is the recommended solution for translating the plugin and providing multi-language support.
Using WPML, you can translate every aspect of your plugin, including dynamic content such as service and category titles, scheduled notifications, and any custom fields you have created before translation.
Setup Guide for WPML #
1. Install the WPML Plugin First, ensure you have added the main WPML components:
- WPML Multilingual CMS (the core plugin)
- WPML String Translation
1.1 Configure WPML Before you can start translating, you need to configure WPML. Follow these steps:
- Go to the Plugins page in your WordPress dashboard.
- Locate the WPML plugin and click on the Configure WPML button at the top of the page.
- Follow the guided setup steps to prepare your site for translation.
1.2 Setup WPML Complete the setup process to ensure your site is ready for translation. This includes selecting your site’s languages, setting up language switchers, and configuring other WPML settings.
2. Install Ultimate Affiliate Pro Plugin
We suggest installing WPML before adding the Ultimate Affiliate Pro plugin to easily translate the entire plugin.
3. Translate the Strings
Once the Ultimate Affiliate Pro plugin is installed and the strings scanned, you can translate them on the WPML > String Translation page.
Use the search box in the upper part of the screen to find the strings you wish to translate. Click on the translations field, and a dropdown menu will appear for inputting the translated text. After completing the translation, tick the ‘Translation is complete’ box and save.
