Installation #
1. Download the plugin (.zip file).
2. In WordPress Dashboard go to Plugins > Add New.
3. Upload the plugin by pressing the upload button.
4. Activate the plugin.
5. In the Ultimate Affiliate Pro plugin dashboard, go to the navigation menu and find the EXTENSIONS tab. Upon clicking the menu item, a box with the Split Commission module will be available.
Setup #
1. Split Commission module can be enabled or disabled by pressing the “Activate/Hold” switcher button from the module panel.
2. Split Commission may be set to split the commission differently between affiliates.
You may set extra bonuses for the first or last Affiliate.
For example, if you set a bonus of 20% of the commission for the first affiliate, the rest of the 80% will be split among all affiliates.
This example applies to the last Affiliate also.
If you set a bonus of 15% for the first affiliate and 20% for the last affiliate, the rest of the 65% from the commission will be split among all affiliates.
The sum of the values inserted should not exceed 100% of the commission.
Practical example #
We have a product with a price of $120.
Admin grants a commission of 30% from the product price, which represents $36.
1. In the first scenario, all the affiliates receive equal parts.
Adam receives $12.
Jeremy received $12.
Curtis received $12.
2. In the second scenario, we give an extra bonus of 10% for the first affiliate, which is $3.6.
The rest of the $32.4 will be divided among all affiliates, which is $10.8 per affiliate.
Adam receives $14.40 ($10.80 + $3.60).
Jeremy received $10.8.
Curtis received $10.8.
3. In the third scenario, we give an extra bonus of 20% for the last affiliate, which is $7.2.
The rest of the $28.8 will be divided among all affiliates, which is $9.6 per affiliate.
Adam received $9.6.
Jeremy receives $9.6.
Curtis receives $16.80 ($7.20 + $9.60).
4. In the fourth scenario, we give a 15% bonus for Adam and 5% for Curtis, which represents a total bonus of $7.2.
Adam received a bonus of $5.4.
Curtis receives a bonus of $1.8.
The rest of $28.8 will be divided among all affiliates, which is $9.6 per affiliate.
Adam receives $15 ($5.40 + $9.60).
Jeremy received $9.6.
Curtis receives $11.40 ($1.80 + $9.60).
