Setting up PayPal Payouts

This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to connect your PayPal account and enable automated payouts via PayPal within Ultimate Affiliate Pro.

Whether you’re just getting started or need a quick refresher, follow the instructions below to ensure a smooth and secure setup process.

Before you begin, make sure you have a verified PayPal Business account and access to your PayPal Developer Dashboard.

1. Log in to PayPal Developer Dashboard #

1. Go to PayPal Developer.
2. Click “Log In” and sign in using your PayPal account credentials.

2. Create a New REST API App #

1. Navigate to “Apps & Credentials” from the left menu.
2. Under “REST API apps”, click “Create App”.
3. Enter an App Name (e.g., “PayoutsApp”).

3. Enable Payouts Feature #

1. During the app creation process, ensure that “Payouts” is selected.
2. If the Payouts feature is not available, you may need to request access from PayPal support.

4. Obtain API Credentials #

1. Once the app is created, you will receive:
   • Client ID
   • Client Secret
2. Copy and securely store these credentials for integration.

5. Verify Payouts Feature Activation #

1. Go back to “Apps & Credentials”.
2. Select your app and confirm that “Payouts” is enabled.

6. Sandbox Setup (If Testing) #

1. Ensure that your test affiliate users have Sandbox PayPal accounts.
2. Go to Sandbox Accounts in the PayPal Developer Dashboard.
3. Check if the Sandbox account balance covers the required payouts.
